SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination -2014 Announced

Staff Selection Commission has notified Combined Graduate Level Examination-2014 for recruitment to different posts. The examination will comprise of  Two Tiers of written objective type examination followed by CPT/Skill Test/Interview. Candidates are requested to note that preference for posts once exercised will be final. Request for change of preference will not be considered under any circumstances. for more details regarding age,fee, educational qualification are mentioned below:

Age Limit as on 1st January,2014:   18-27 years( He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1987 and not later than 01.01.1996)

Permissible relaxation of Upper age limit as per Government orders are indicated in Advertisement.

Qualification as on 1st January, 2014

i) CompilerBachelor‟s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject.


 ii) Statistical Investigator Grade – II Bachelor‟s Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects
                                                          OR
Bachelor‟s Degree with Mathematics( with Statistics as a papers studied in one year/two years/all three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects
                                                         OR
Bachelor‟s Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects Note-: “Statistics” means any branch of Statistics, applied or otherwise.
iii) All other Posts: Bachelor‟s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Application Fee: Rs. 100
All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee, as per extant government orders.

Mode of Payment: ONLINE/OFFLINE
(i) For Paper or Off-Line Applications, candidates should pay the fee by means of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps(CRFS)"only. .CRFS stamps are available at all Departmental Post Offices of the country.
(ii) The candidates submitting their applications On-Line should pay the requisite fee only through State Bank of India Challan or on-line account with SBI. Challan form will be generated on-line

Selection Process: The candidates will be selected based on written Test followed by CPT, Skill Test and Interview.

Instructions for Online Application:
1. Log on to the website www.ssconline.nic.in and ssconline2gov.nic.in click on online application.
2. Candidates must fill the Part –I Online Application form by selecting the link.
3. Fill all the marked details of Part –I Application Form and then make the payment.
4. After making the payment in online or offline mode candidates must revisit the website.
5. This time candidates need to select the Part II Registration. Click on the link.
6. Fill all the mandatory details in Part II of Application.
7. Upload the scanned Photograph and Signature at the places provided and submit the Application.
8. Click on the ‘submit’ link. After submitting the application form candidates can take the print out of system generated application form for any further assistance

Starting Date for submission of online/offline Application: 18th January,2014
Last Date for submission of online/offline Application:     14th February,2014
Exam Date: (Tier1) 27th April & 4th May,2014
                    (Tier2)  30th & 31st August,2014
